Youth empowerment program

MONAI, in collaboration with CFANC, successfully conducted a Youth Empowerment Program aimed at inspiring and equipping young people with the tools and mindset needed to live purpose-driven lives, build emotional resilience, and navigate the challenges of adolescence, including peer pressure and identity struggles.

The Program objectives were to empower youth to:

  • Discover and embrace their life purpose

  • Heal from emotional wounds

  • Resist negative peer influences

  • Think critically and reflect meaningfully on life choices

 

The Key topics covered were as follows:

  1. Discovering Your Purpose

    • Understanding your identity and personal calling

    • Setting meaningful life goals

  2. Emotional Healing

    • Addressing inner pain, rejection, and low self-esteem

    • Encouraging forgiveness and mental wellness

  3. Lessons from the Prodigal Son

    • Biblical storytelling to teach decision-making, forgiveness, and redemption

    • Group discussions on how to apply spiritual lessons to real-life situations

  4. Critical Thinking and Self-Reflection

    • Activities promoting independent thinking and wise decision-making

    • Self-assessment tools to encourage reflection on values and habits

Program impact:

The two-day workshop was extremely impactful. It provided a safe and engaging space for young people to express themselves, gain practical insights, and build spiritual and emotional strength. Through interactive sessions, testimonies, and mentorship, many participants reported a renewed sense of direction and hope.
